Last weekend the Kids Climate Conference took place in nature reserve The Heere Peel in America, The Netherlands.

This event is the junior climate summit at which 150 children from 8 to 14 years old deal with important issues regarding nature, climate, sustainability and health. This years’ theme was ‘a foundation for a better world’. As Light4Food we had the chance to host a fun and educational workshop at which the children were encouraged to come up with solutions that contribute to a better world. The best ideas will be bundled into a book and handed over to the Dutch and Flemish Parliament.
