Currently, Light4Food is conducting research into the cultivation of lamb's lettuce on a hydroponic floating system. The lamb's lettuce is gaining popularity in Europe and has the potential to be grown on a Deep Water Culture system as well.

Besides cultivation on water, the automation of cultivation processes around lamb's lettuce is also highly interesting. Filling and sowing lines in combination with transport and harvesting machinery can provide an efficient and highly automated cultivation system.
